Strategy & Execution

A company to be successful must have a strategy in place which takes into account a wide variety of topics to be successful – current and future market trends, company constraints, expertise, and resources, customer needs in the present and future, competition, a pipeline of products to meet customer needs, currency fluctuations, probable shifts in the market, a “go to market” strategy, among many other factors.

That being said, “Poor execution can eat strategy for lunch.” If a company’s processes aren’t efficient, if logistics aren’t in place, a brilliant well-thought through strategy will not be successful. An organization needs to have its operations in fine-tuned order in order to sustain an excellent strategy. While paying attention to strategy development, a company needs to also continue to create greater and greater efficiencies.
